Fruit of the Spirit
Several years ago we performed a play called For Such A Time based on the book of Esther. It was written by Vanessa and Carlahna Egleton and directed by Julie Thomas, involved a lot of church folk and performed only once. The performance was filmed but the audio wasn't all that great. I have finally been able to enhance the audio (as best I can) and cut the video up into scenes. You can see it here and it is available for download. Hope you enjoy it. Here's a taster...
David Levi's been at it again, this time teaming up with fellow reggae artist Gabriel Jackson for the song Straightway. (sorry, no video) David says "While reading through the first chapter of the Gospel of Mark, verse 18 just jumped out at me from the page. The characteristic word in Mark is " straightway", a servant's word. Everywhere in the book the servant character of the incarnate Son is manifest. " For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister." The zeal and faith shown by the disciples in dropping their nets and following the Master 'straightway' was enough to capture my heart and imagination and the lyrics began flowing . "
I seem to end up talking about this illustration over and over so I thought I'd put it here for you to watch. Thanks Francis Chan for the illustration.
It was always so hard finding a good copy of this song. The original cup song. Rich Mullins - Screen Door
A STAR IS RE-BORN - Who would have known that we had a reggae singer in our midst? Dave Feci has released his first Christian album and decided to use the church in his video. Have a look and then check out Dave's Facebook page.
